Little man & Pretty girl

On October 29, 2009 Knox Allen McFarland made his debut into this world.
He weighed 8lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long. His nickname has been Chenny since we found out Kenny & Chelsey were expecting. He really is a Chenny because he looks like both of his parents. He is a precious "Little Man' We are excited to finally have 2 grandkids now!!

I also tell her that she is my favorite grand daughter to which she tells me that she is my only grand daughter. We have a lot of fun together - it is fun to have her come to my house and do things with!

Easter

Well I look at everyone's Easter pictures and feel a little sad. For Easter Billy & I went down to St. George..now don't get me wrong about going - I just don't have the pictures. We left on Friday and came home on Sunday. The weather was cloudy and a little cool on Saturday but was SUNNY and BEAUTIFUL on Sunday (of course). We spent Saturday with Toree shopping and just having fun! Sunday we went to church with her and Taylor. On the way home we decided to take the touristy route through Zion's and then we checked out the campground Ruby's Inn by Bryce National Park. I am always amazed at the beauty of these parks!! Well our Easter dinner was at Subway which was yummy probably cuz I was STARVING by the time we ate. So that was our Easter which was just fine with me.

A 'BEARY" fun afternoon

Friday afternoon Elli came over to my house to give her
and her dad a break from each other. I told Elli i needed
to make bread. She saw this idea in a "Twilight'"(Highlite)
magazine so we decided to give it a try. We only had
1 disaster when we were making the bread. We dropped the
whole can of evaporated milk in the mixer and we had
stuff EVERYWHERE. At first Elli thought she was in
trouble but we both just busted out laughing!

This is two of Elli's bears and one of mine

Valentine's Day

My Valentine's Day was GREAT!! Billy & I went to Ogden and he bought me these beautiful diamond earrings!! I was so excited..I have wanted a pair of these forever.

We were going to go to Logan on a date but the weather was horrible so we stayed home and fixed dinner for the two of us and also Toree and Taylor. We had steak, potatoes and dessert. It was really fun to spend time with Toree and Taylor.
Sunday we had Jenn, Eric, Elli, Kenny, Chelsey, Toree, Taylor, Bruce (Taylor's dad) Billy and myself at the house for dinner. We had bar-b-qed ribs, salad, funeral potatoes and brownie sundays. Dinner was really yummy and looks really good on all of our hips and fannies!

After Christmas Fun

For Christmas this year we decided that we would
go up to Island Park and spend some time
together as a family. Billy & I rented a cabin and
snow machines (a whole lot easier and cheaper
than owning them) and away we went. There were
11 of us up there Billy, myself, Eric, Jenn, Elli, Brant,
Ashley, Kenny, Chelsey, Toree and her boyfriend
Taylor Evans. It was SO much fun...cold but fun. I don't
think the furnace turned off the whole time we
were there.

This is some of the fam playing with Elli's
play dough set she got from Brant and Ashley

This is the group minus Eric at Big Springs..
there used to be hundreds of REALLY BIG
fish there but there are only a few now

Billy, Kelly and Elli

This is us on Two Top, it was DANG cold and windy
up there but you could see forever anyway you
looked.

Some guy came to clean the snow off the roof
while we were gone and this is what we came
home to..we couldn't even get close to the front
door. Don't know what he was thinking...DUH!
